Stock Date Calculations

Attached please find the sample data set for 5 years of stock. The metrices is sum(close). Trying to do in Qlik Sense

Trying to create a visualization similar to this https://www.highcharts.com/stock/demo/responsive

Exclude weekends in the presentation. For example if you look at the chart on Monday it will show previous day data that is Friday. If selected date is Saturday then data displayed will be Friday.

Return Calculation

Rate

t = today (weekday) (If user selects Sat or Sun it should pick Friday Sales)

t-1 = previous weekday (If the user selected Monday it should Pick Friday sales

if the user select sat it should pick Thursday sales etc as week days are not considered)

Rate of Return

1. Daily return: P[t]/P[t-1]-1

2. MTD return (month to date): P[t]/P[m-1]-1

a. P[m-1]is the last weekday of the previous month

3. QTD return (quarter to date): P[t]/P[g-1]-1

a. P[g-1] last weekday of the previous quarter (March, June, September & December)

4. YTD return (year to date): P[t]/P[y-1]-1

a. P[y-1]is last weekday of December of the previous year

There needs to be an option in this dashboard where users can select date range.

I am not able to create the visualizations as per the requirements. Please find the attached QVF, how can I create the Input boxes for dates and how to show the MTD, QTD and YTD as per the requirements
