I'm not sure how Qlik identifies them but I assume that it just accessed the Excel meta-data information of UsedRange or something similar and this means that each cell which has different object-properties (in content and each kind of layout) then a default cell will be included.</P><P></P><P>The easiest way is suggested from <A href="https://community.qlik.com/qlik-users/98547">vishsaggi</A> just to delete this content respectively columns within the Excel itself.
