Qvw file opening

Team,

I want to open project or license verison of qvw dashabord in my personal desktop/PC?

I tried to open in personal edition Qlikview but it is showing error and not opening.

what is work around to open and see the script in the qvw?

I want to analyze the script for an issue / urgent.

Hi,

with an unlicenced version, you can open 5 times a QVW that wasn't created by you..

you have maybe reached the limit ?

Hopefully the only way is to have the necessary rights to see it (licence / section access login and pass)

Someone with a licensed version of Qlikview can export the script in a txt file and send it to you

I don't know whether this trick still works, but a while ago you could extract a QVW script by dropping the document on the free Qlik Sense Desktop. Install Qlik Sense and import a QlikView document. Qlik Sense won't recover your sheets or objects (as they are mostly useless to Qlik Sense) but you may be able to open the script as-is and save it to a text or qvs file.
