Scripting best practice

Hi,

Does anyone have any best practices when scripting in Qlikview? I.e. would you put all Keys at the start of the script and IF Statements after the Key fields or do you make sure hat it is scripted Alphabetical order by fields name?

I would keep key fields on the top so that in the Data Model you can see the relationship lines properly matching with other tables.

And If Statements would you just put them in alphabetical order? Also I have seen some users on here that instead of doing the scripting within the Qlikview Document they do the scripting in either a notepad or a excel spreadsheet? i.e. a config file, any reason why they would do it this way?
