Hello everyone,

As far as I know when you create expressions in a QV chart is better not to use if() inside the functions, but what about use it in the definitions to choose between functions? Is it much worse than use the Conditional on the expression and then create various expressions?

                                            or

I think that int he first choice only tests the condition once per every time the expression has to be calculated. The second one tests it for every entry in a dimension. So, in case that i have a Time dimension Chart with 200 days the second one will calculate 200 times the if, and the fist just once, is it right?

Would happen the same if I use the pick() funcion?

Thank You in Advance
