[ASK] Connect to multiple DB3 Files

Dear Qlik Master,

i have a customer that required get data from db3 files.

FYI, 1 day of transaction = 1 db3 file.

All db3 files stored in 1 folder, with file format : [BRANCHID]_[SALESMANID]_[TRANSDATE].db3

I've never connect to db3 files before with qlikview.

Is there anyway to connect to multiple db3 files in 1 folder?

Hi,

Your ODBC connection is enough for loading the data from db..

and for loading data from all files present in the folder you can follow below thread..

i don't have db3 odbc, where can i download it?

Speak to your DB3 administrator and/or vendor, or google for one (if there is a free version available).

ok i've downloaded the odbc.

but the problem is, 1 transaction day = 1 db = 1 odbc.

So i have create so many odbc connection which is impossible.

Is there any way to automatically change db3 file without create odbc for each db3 file?
