If you rather want the numeric values, then enclose your values in function num().</P><P>Not sure about the meaning of # in the manual. I'm guessing that they offer an example based on a specific database, so this syntax may belong to the database rather than QlikView... You need to follow the rules relevant to your Database syntax.</P><P>The $() - expansion returns the value of the variable.
