opening the One note file for the specific URL

Hi all,

I have mentioned specific path in the text object --> Action--> Open URL, in order to open one note file from the specific path.

The issue is when i test in local machine its getting opened but

Issue 1:

while try to access in access point link it's not working in Chrome(nothing happened)

issue 2:

But while try to access in IE access point link it asking option such as, open, save save as option

when i try to hit open option its opening default open page of one note (how we open new one note file)

where save & save as option is working fine

How is the URL you are using to open Onenote? Is the QlikView service account authenticated in that Onenote session or the Note is shared with all?

IE and Chrome have different security setups and not everything can be reproduced to behave exactly the same way, specially when it comes to opening files and external links.

No.

i am using server path

example:

\\servename\foldername\filename with extension

file is shared with all.

how to resolve these issues facing same pblm

Perhaps Chrome is not allowing those links to work. See this other thread, also related to local/server links not opening from QlikView when displayed in Chrome.
