Reading data from SharePoint list Getting the Message " Access is Denied"

Hi,

- I have url to access the xml data from sharepoint list.

- To access data i did the process like this:

WebFile -----> InternetFile (i.e url path of my sharepoint list) ---> xml

Here I getting "Access Is Denied'' Message.

- When i tried the url path in IE i'm able to get the xml data after giving the Username & Password when i entered into partiular page.

Why i'm getting that message?

How can i resolve the problem? Can any one help me.

Hi Boppy,

I had a similar issue with Qlikview and Sharepoint before. I was able to resolve it by adding the sharepoint site to local intranet sites in internet explorer.

Thanks for responding to my request. But, I didn't get you what you said. Can you say the procedure how to adding the sharepoint site to local intranet sites in internet explorer.

now am facing same problem while connecting share point .

Hi everybody.

Open Internet Explorer

Tools ->Internet Options -> Security Tab -> Local Intranet -> Sites

Add the intranet site and it works!!
