Qlikview script did not recognize connector reply on large data but works on smaller selection of records

Hi everyone,

I am currently experiencing problems using informix odbc and qlikview to extract data.

Using the same script but just a smaller selection date period the script works.

When I use it for example BETWEEN 01/01/2016 AND 01/02/2016 it works.

But when I do BETWEEN 01/01/2012 AND 01/02/2016 it gives the below error:

did not recognize connector reply

Could this be due to some timeout for the odbc connection as the query does run in terms of hours and

Try to reconnect ur DB and give a try....

Yes, there could be timeouts, a lack of RAM or problems with the network. I think if the loads are so heavy you should consider to use incremental methods. Within these links are several links to these topic: Advanced topics for creating a qlik datamodel
