    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;To make sure that we understand each other: What is a DCS service?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you mean the QlikView DSC service (Directory Service Connector), and your DSC consistently refuses to start, something serious may be off. Open the most recent DSC log in &lt;SPAN style="font-family: 'courier new', courier;"&gt;C:\ProgramData\QlikTech\DirectoryServiceConnector\Log&lt;/SPAN&gt; (the log files have a file name that carries the date) and check for any fatal errors, or post the latest log in this thread.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It could be as simple as a Domain Controller suddenly being unreachable or something like that.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;We come into office and the DCS service is down . &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;we tried restarting the server and or services it refuses to start . &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Its running against the correct account .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
