Launch action not working in access point

We have a powerpoint document on the server in the same folder as our qvw, Under qlikview_Docs->users. we have created a button on the qvw with Launch action to open this ppt and gave the link-folder path in the button properties.

I am able to access the PPT from desktop but when trying to access through access point its showing access denied error. and not opening the PPT.

Is there any other way to open the PPT in QlikView

Does the QlikView service account have permissions to the ppt file?

It does not seem like you want Launch action.

You just need to Display a URL and Tell Qlikview to display has LINK.

Then the user can just press the LINK.

I am sailing on the same boat. by any chance are you able to make this? I want show PPT file from server.

I tried with Launch Action and Open URL action. Both didn't work.
