How to create multiple groups

Hi,

i have column value as below

Column1

i need to create one more column as below where Group1 = A+B, Group2 = A+B+C+D, Group3 = A+D

Column2 - Grouping

Group1

Group2

Group3

please help me to achieve this

can you elaborate a little more on that? Do you have, like I guess from your post, just 1 column with 4 stacked segments or do you have 4 columns?

Have you used any set_expressions for those?

Can you provide more details on your requirement? If you have more than four rows in input, then how will you form groups? Are you creating grouping column in the same table?

It depents how you work with the groups. You can insert all groups in one field, but then you cant use it in the Listbox. You can use a Linktable or you can create more lines but then you must be carefull with aggregations.

Does the grouping based on a perticular pattern or it is a preset groups, if so then you need to create a new field using if condition for each field value for the new column.
