Hi Folks,

I'm working on a qlikview report in Windows 2008 server, for some reason the report navigation(selections etc..) is slower on the server where as it is faster in my local machine.Does anybody know what is making the navigation slower on a server?

Thanks,Santhosh.

Does the virtualization hypervisor overcommit resources or baloon memory? That could cause QVS to get "squeezed" when allocating memory or performing calculations. Have you changed the CPU core count since QVS was installed? If yes, have you altered the core affinity in QV QEMC?

Make sure that the QVS event log verbosity is set to High/Debug, and restart the QVS service to see if the Working Set limit values are actually enforced. They default at 70/90 (% of physical RAM), and the log entry at service start should log what amount of RAM is set as WS limits. In your case somwhere around 11/14 GB, as default.
