Application crashes in report editor

It's second or third time i am losing all my morning work because of qlikview crash. Is this the right place to post feature requests or bug fix requests?

First of all I would like to ask to fix the bug.

Second: I would like to request autosave feature. It's really decreases motivation when you lose your dailiy work because of application error.

It crashes when using report editor. ( sometimes when i try to open it, sometimes when i try to move objects inside editor ). I could send error message if needed.

You need to raise a call through support for any bugs you may find.

You dont say which version you are using but on v9sr4 I have not found a problem with reports (plenty elsewhere though :)) so maybe updating would be a good option.

I am using V9sr5, so i think that's not the case 🙂

Hi Andrei,

In response to your comment about logging a feature request, if you log your idea for an autosave on the Customer Portal (Ideas tab) then other users can vote on it.

It isn't clear what happens to these suggestions - but at least it is a chance to gather some support for your idea!

I am finding that the report editor crashes often in version 10 as well :-(.

In particular with Multi-pages and resizing. Any suggestions besides save often.

To your question about Auto-save - open Settings-User Preferences - Save tab and set your auto-save interval. No reason to lose your work...

Thanks. Found the autosave feature already. Funny thing is when i started using it, I didnt face any report crash anymore. 😛
