I tried to create connection to external ODBC data source. Connection has failed and in the dialog window it stated as follow:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Connection Test Failed&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;SQL##f - SqlState: S1000, ErrorCode: 31004, ErrorMsg: [Jade Software Corporation][JADE ODBC Thin Client] Connection failed to connect&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What is the Error Code 31004 mean?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank You&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;For those who also have this issue,&amp;nbsp;&lt;a href="https://community.qlik.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/28581"&gt;@johnca&lt;/a&gt;'s response helped point me in the right direction. I had a similar issue where I had a production and test Jade environment on the same server, and it appeared they were setup the same. So this was really driving me crazy.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Turns out the firewall had been used to lock it all down, and the production port had been opened but the test had not. So your firewall settings could be a good place to check&lt;/P&gt;</description>
