But if the developer has full access to the script editor in Qlikview then he/she can enable that option. If you want to disallow writing to the database you will have to restrict those privileges at the database level. This means create a database user login with only the privileges to read data and give only the credentials for this read-only user to the Qlikview developer. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would like prohibit that developers can use commands insert and update in SQL Script during reload from aplication in the qlikview.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I get it, trough ODBC, but i'd like to know if Qlikview have something native for treat this question.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Gilvan&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
