Conversion numeric value into variable data

Hi all,

generally i convert/use the date without problem, but in this case i don't obtain what I wont !

The data is always show as 20100820 instead of 20-09-2010

1) Set is defined: SET DateFormat='YYYYMMDD';

2) I have created a variable data vMaxDate =left(max({1} BPYYMD),8) (Where BPYYMD is a numeric field (not data) lenght 8 digits 20100920)

3) I have create a text box with an expression: = date#($(vMaxDate), 'DD-MM-YYYY') or = date#(vMaxDate, 'DD-MM-YYYY'), but the result is always wrong

You should try something like

date(date#($(vMaxDate),'YYYYMMDD'), 'DD-MM-YYYY')

date(date#('$(vMaxDate)','YYYYMMDD'), 'DD-MM-YYYY')
