Installing Gantt Chart Extension Object

Hi All,

A few questions regarding intstalling the Gantt Chart Extension Object extension.

1) When installing this extension by clicking lmsGanttChart.qar on, where are the files installed?

2) How come this extension is selectable in the sheet of the included demo app lmsGanttChart2.0.qvw, but not in mine own app?

3) How come the sheet of the demo app has quite a different look and feel compared to a regular sheet of a 'normal' app?

4) It seems that this extension outputs html, how is the html renderd in a sheet?

1. The extension is installed in your users AppData folder:

C:\Users\YouUserHere\AppData\Local\QlikTech\QlikView\Extensions

2. Probably because you didn't change to Webview in the View menu.

3. see above

4. Using the IE browser engine in QV Desktop when you change to Webview. When accessing the document in the ajax client it's rendered by the browser you use to open the document in the access point.
