Hideprefix can apply only for fact table and dimensionality tables. So, you not hide as these are system keys..

I am trying to hide some fields. I have used a prefix and HidePrefix. I have also tagged the fields $hidden. Still it seems anybody can open a new chart, click "Show System Fields" and the fields are visible. Is there a way to lock out the system fields or completely hide the field names? I need the fields in the data model, but people are only allowed to see it in an aggregated format. I do not want them to be able to add the fields to the charts they may create.

Any help?

Thanks!

Yeah, after many hours of attempts and Googling, I was coming to that conclusion. Perhaps I shall give them strategic new names that have nothing to do with what they are and hide them in plain sight.
