Problems with simple navigation

Hi,

I have recently installed Personal Edition v9 and am relearing through the tutorial. However I am have some simple issues with using the software, (I hope its not me being a muppet!), things like:

1. Selecting multiple objects using mouse

2. Selecting multiple objects using 'ctrl' key

3. Copying sheet objects

4. Moving fields in pivot table

5. Cloing objects

Is there some sort of set-up I need to enable to get these feature working or is Personal Edition limited in functionality, by the forum posts I have read it doesn't seem to be the case.

Hi,

1. You can select multiple object using the mouse by drawing a square with the mouse over the objects to select

2. You must use Shift instead of control to select unselect an object

3. Right click on the top of the sheet and right click then select Copy Sheet object. You can also select one object or all (CTRL+A) then CTRL + C and CTRL+ Paste

4. You can move fields if object properties allow you to move fields

5. You cannot close objects but you can reduce them.

Thanks for your reply.

I have found its actually a problem with the Tutorial file, bascially when I plauy with the 'Whats new in v9' file I can perform all these functions. However the Tutorial file must have been created from an earlier version which limits what I can do for some reason.
