Hi,

I have to read data from an Excel Workbook. From one sheet, I need only two cells. Both are identified by a text in the cell before: If e.g. in column O, there is the text "Goal_2013", I need the cell in the same row, column P.

Can I somehow make that independent of the exact position of those cells in the sheet?

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

DataNibbler

Hi sushil,

well, I attach a sample file, but it's not worth much - the scenario only encompasses two cells, so I have populated just two cells, in this instance A1 and B1 - but I want the logic to also work when I have those values in, say, D35 and E35 - two cells side by side in the same row, regardless of column.

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

DataNibbler

Using the inbuilt transformation steps it is possible..

but please provide the proper data table and scenario..

Regards,

Sushil

Hi sushil,

thanks a lot for helping!

I cannot provide the actual Excel workbook, there is a lot of sensitive data in there - but my question regards only those two cells. I really don't see what is the point of having the actual sheet?

Best regards,

DataNibbler
