Hello:

In my Qlikview client, I only see the option to connect using ODBC and OLEDB. I do not see the option to connect using a JDBC driver. How do I connect from Qliview. Is that from the Edit Script screen or is there some other way to connect using JDBC?

Hi,

you need ti install the QlikView JDBC Connector to use JDBC sources:

http://www.tiq-solutions.de/display/enghome/ENJDBC

In a second step you have to configure the Vertica JDBC driver and make your connection. Basically you have to do the same steps like described here (without SQuirrel installation): http://vertica4u.wordpress.com/

- Ralf
