Testing/Update QVW Application

Hello Community,

This one is for all those who actually test qvw app or make updates to existing qvw apps.

Suppose if I need to make a small update to the existing QV App( which takes much time to reload), then what steps we follow to test the changes?

My Friends suggested me below :

1) Using IsPartialReload or

2) Limited Data settings in debug or

3) Reloading the complete QV App again or any other?

My App is having QVD's and as well as SQL Scripts, so I need your help to know which is the best practice to add a small update to the existing QV app.

If a full reload takes a long time then use a reduced data set while developing. You can create a specific set of qvd's for this. Make sure that after development you do a final test with the full set of data to make sure no unexpected performance problems pop up after deploying the updated app.

In general what are the practices a developer uses to debug a HUGE Qlikview or certain portion of the QVW ?

or How actually can i breakdown a HUGE QVW into peices and then test.
