I would like to know how useful is to use some kind of prefix to recognize the dimension tables and the fact tables?

Is useful for recognize each kind of table

A good practise too is create Tabs: Dimensions and Facts in your script

Remember that the fact table only increase rows, never is updated

Hi ,

The Fact and Dimension prefix are used to describe the table in an Table structure Schema like Star or snowfalke .

brief explanation is below .

Fact table : It is a Centre table in a Star Schema structure . it store the facts like each event data .

DimensionTable : It allows you to Query the fact data table in any way .
