help with the join

I'm trying to join two table ..

i'm trying a left join but its not giving the result i'm expected.....

Main:

load kWeekKey,

date(num(round(Date-1))) as MaxDate,

date(num(Date)-8) as StartDate

resident Range;

left join

test1:

load

kWeekKey,

MaxDate,

StartDate,

Sumgallon

Resident temp;

for table main it has only unique kweekKey but in test1. table it has mutlple kweeekKey ...i want just sumgallon value unique to start date and enddate in main table.......

how do i do this ??

any suggestion plz
