Reload script changes without affecting the data source

Hi there,

I am wanting to work on my dashboard offline, so not connected to the origonal data source.

So am wanting to edit the script and be able to reload the changes .. but keep the data so i can check my work

Is this possible?

Hi Tara,

You cannot reload the data until you connect to the data sources.

You can make changes in the frontend without reloading the application.

You can use the partial reload functionality.

with this functionality you can add new data to a table or replace it..

You can able changes scrip with out data reflection in datasource,

once your script is ready convert that script in to qvd's then use that qvd in your dashboard script, your datasource was not reflecting. it is very fast and less time consume compare with connect data source. once your requirement is ready then go to the full reload connect with data source

Apart from the above mention,you can also use binary statement and make changes.
