QMSEDX in background

Hello

I am using the QMSEDX.exe program to start tasks on the server.

I discovered that the process is waitng the end of the reload to give back the control to the user.

Is there any switch that I can use to just send the request , making sure it is started and give back the control to the user ?

Hi, are you using a command-line?

If you are, you can try using start QMSEDX.exe

This will create a second thread that will call QMSEDX. I guess this doesn't guarantee that the reload started.

Hi Erich,

That does not seem to work.

It does not start. If I use the same command line without the start , It works.

Any other idea ?

FYI I am starting it from a macro.

To solve the issue I have created a bat file and that works.

Sorry to barge in and ask a question on this one but its exactly the problem I have.

Are you saying that you create a bat file to call QMSEDX, and this worked?
