We are using Sage Visual Analyzer 2.5. When opening a QVW file in SalesLogix 7.22, we get "Failed to open document" in a message box. This error repeats 3 times, then the Qlikview report opens normally. In the tile bar of the message box it references QlikOcx. Since it eventually opens, it's not a huge issue, but annoying to the users (and me). I found a thread on one of the SalesLogix sites about this behavior, but no solution. Anybody know anything about this?

Did you ever figure this out? I'm running SalesLogix 7.2.1 with VA 2.6 and when I log into SalesLogix as Admin I can open VA and the qvw file loads fine without errors. However, when I open SalesLogix as a regular user and try to load VA I receive the "Failed to Open Document" message 3 times as well but for me the qvw file never loads, I just received a blank screen.

I've seen this before on VA2.6. The answer below to uncheck the encryption didn't work for me.

Here's what I did to fix it:

Login as the Admin

Open VA

Reload the QVW with fresh data

Close SLX

Reopen as the non-admin User, VA should work now
