Sorting Order By month and Revenue Figures in a sequence

Hi All,

I need to sort the revenue figures by month. The mopnth selection is dynamic.

First I need to sort only values for month, Then 2 months, 3 months etc. No need of sorting any dimensiopn. It is purely on Month and revenue figures.

The sample is shown in attached excel spread sheet.

Can you please post a sample application using inline load to demonstrate the issue. Please describe the desired results based on your inline load data.

If you can create and attach a small sample QV application it is easier to help provide a solution. Use inline load to create the input table so that we can reload on our end.

Hi All,

I added an excel sheet with data for your reference. The excel contains two sheets one with data and other with output required.

Here we need to display the data which is only for one month at top then, which is for two months and then which is for three month Etc.

Hi Bhushan,

Thanks for your support. It is working fine but as it is loaded as it is, the results are comming. There is no special formula written to sort. so I did some changes in the data file and need the figures as you displayed earlier with descending order.

Attached the changed data file.

Dear Reddy ,

Y we need to write a formula , if things can be solved using simple techniques ???? What i can guess here is ur requirment is quite diff from wht u r asking .

I think u sholud be asking logic rather than looking some docs from community.

I can't see much difference in the updated excel file and on top of that & also can't guess wht u intend to do.

Its better you can put exact requirement with " your application " rather than creating imagnary inputs.
