QlikView 10 SR 4 - FromField Issue when Loading a DB Field with XML Content

I have a requirement, where i need to load a number of rows from a database table, where a column contains XML data.

I tried using From_Field function, and saw few people having tried this in the past, possibly without success. Later i found a recently release QV 10 Service Pack 4 fixes the issue. Possibly not completely.

I have attached a sample:

a) SingleRowLoad.qvw This one loads a single row from a table, which loads successfully.

b) MultiRowLoad.qvw This one tries loading more than one single row from a table, which fails

c) MultiRowLoadWorkAround.qvw I have just attached a workaround, where i am loading all rows from the table and subsequently loading 1 field at a time to a temporary table and loading the fields from XML subsequently.

Could anyone advise if there is a way to solve this as i may be missing something. Your help greatly appreciated.
