Connecting to Oracle using native client

Hi, Does anyone know alternative way of connecting to Oracle database from Qlikview? I know we can use ODBC/OLE DB. I was told Qlikview can connect to Oracle using native client directly i.e. not via ODBC. Is this true? If so does any one know how to use Oracle native client connection or is there a document available on this? Thanks for help.

Hi,

as far as I know it is not possible to connect Oracle native from QlikView. An alternative to ODBC/OLE DB is to connect via JDBC:

As described in the document above JDBC could be also faster than ODBC/OLE DB in some situations.
