Limit load based on account

Hi Guys,

i have a qlikview application im looking for the best way of doing the following

when my customer logins into there qlikview it limits the data shown to just there account number what would be the best way to do this? section access?

if so how would i go about getting it to look at the account number to just limit the data to that?

Hi,

Yes, section access would do that. Note that section access actually removes all records that are not related to the value specified in the reduction field. Check this post and this thread and this one. There are many others in the forums, and some descriptive documents (and videos in the "Documents" section in the "Browse" menu above) that you can peruse to understand better how this works. These examples are actual issues, so they may help you get the point.
