Hi Friends,

I am getting the error while pulling the data from MS sql server 2005. The description of error as follows.

I have data server with Ms sql 2005 (32 bit) and m pulling the data from development server having qv 9.0 and MS sql 2008 (64 bit). I am abale to create the dsn of sql server successfully. But when i m trying to pull the data using dsn with qlikview its showing the error "ODBC read fail" error.

The error is arrieses if i try to pull single field too.

Please help me to resolve this issue.

You should look into adding the "with nolocks" statement to your selects.

Hi Manesh,

Check in check box (Force 32 bit) under ODBC connection.
