    <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;I don't know of any function call from within QlikView / using Automation to get the license.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But maybe I'm just not aware of but in case nobody comes up with a much easier solution:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The LEF.txt file containing the license is usually located under e.g.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\QlikTech\QlikView&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;though the actual path is probably system (OS version and locale) depending, but you could get the path from the registry I think, and there is a QlikView GetRegistryString function to use.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Then you might load and parse the file for your Key (first line in LEF.txt).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Stefan&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
