      <description>&lt;HTML&gt;&lt;HEAD&gt;&lt;/HEAD&gt;&lt;BODY&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am trying to import variables from an excel .xls file into qlikview with no luck. &lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The format of the excel file is column A, variable name and column B variable contents&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;columnA&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; columnB&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;vDays&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; sum(days)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;/BODY&gt;&lt;/HTML&gt;</description>
