I am trying to build section access using data reduction into a basic report and, on the face of it, it is working okay.

I have an Excel spreadsheet with columns SIN_SUPERGROUP.

SIN_SUPERGROUP is the field which I am doing the data reduction on.

This can have one of three values - CORE, REGIONAL or GLOBAL.

The tests I have carried out so far are on the basis of the user getting access to only one of these.

In reality it can be either a single selection or any combination of the three.

For example, I want...

USERA to see only CORE

USERB to see CORE AND REGIONAL

USERC to see CORE, REGIONAL AND GLOBAL

USERD to see CORE AND GLOBAL

Think the solution to USERC is to insert a * in the spreadsheet under SIN_SUPERGROUP but am unsure what I should be doing with USERB and USERD...

I am sure that this is a problem that others have faced and would appreciate some guidance on how to acheieve this...

Many Thanks

Paul
