I am trying to connect to my sap system but this doesn't work I get a lot of errors. when making a connection the connection says dat the test connection works, so that cannot be the problem. But I still get a lot of errors, can somebody please help.

HI James,

There is another application, which you have to reload to generate the Qvds. After that application generates Qvds you can reload the present application to get the Qvds.

Search for the other application, add the Script for SAP Connector and run that first. I dont remember the other application name.

Oh sorry I just saw that it is correct.

Open a new application and check whether this code works

T001:

Select * from T001;

if It is not working then you have to try same in the SAP Side to check whether the transports are correct.

I tried this code in Qlikview script but it doesn´t work has anybody some other explaination for this problem?

just check store command . folder does not exsit where you want to try to save QVD.

I changed the folder to an existing folder but this still doesn't work I still get the same errors. the script looks now like this:

Pls Check your Connection String.

SAP Coonector is unable to find data dictionaty .

just try with simple SQL query like

select * from t000;

Have you tried the qlikview user profile to make sure it has access to the tables?

You can check in transaction PFCG, profile QTQVCACCESS, Authorizations tab. You should at least have DD* for the data dictionary.

pls try following Tcode in SAP R/3

/n/qtqvcsql

pls SAP R/3 side whether role is assigned properly o not.

if you are able to extract data from above TCode then it is always extractable from Qlikview side.

I tried the Tcode but it does not work there is no outcome when I execute the Tcode in SAP R/3, what can be the problem?

If you do not get any outcome after executing /n/qtqvc/sql TCode means that

file is not properly pransported in SAP R/3 system.

I have a problem involving SAP BW (OLAP Connector):

One of the cubes that is shown in Qlikview is empty, but in Business Objects this cube is filled with data, does any one know how this can ben resolved.

And when I select a cube and I click on reload I get the following error (view print screen) But under the error messages the script says that the data is fetched, can any one help me with these two problems.

I think data is not fetched.pl try to extract fact and dimention table seperately. and join fact table to all dimention table in qlikview . it is faster and best way to eatract cube.

Sunil,

where can I extract a fact and dimension table seperately. when I click on cubus in the scriptbuilder I get the Infoprovider en Qeury.

I select a qeury and I click ok, thats is what I do. So I do not see the difference between a fact and dimension.
