Document Chaining Issue - Open Particular Sheet

Hi All,

Hope you are doing well.

Somebody please help me on below requirement On Document Chaining.

I have Doc1.QVW and Doc2.QVW in same folder.

In Doc1 I have only 1 sheet and in Doc2 I have 2 sheets.

Currently I am using Open Qlikview Document trigger to navigate to Doc2 which will pass field selections also (Using Transfer state option)

And I am able to pass variables selection also using Include in Bookmarks option (Document Properties --> Variables Tab)

But the problem here is I cannot able to navigate to particular sheet say Sheet2

(SH02) of Doc2.

In Doc2 I have OnOpen Trigger to open Sheet1 by default.

But if I am navigating from Doc1 to Doc2, the Doc2 should be opened with Sheet2 with all selections from Doc1.

I used following syntax in Trigger to enter into Sheet 2 of Doc2.

Doc2.QVW&sheet=SH02

But however it is not working.

Can anyone help me on this requirement?

I have attached the Files where i have tried for this requirement.

Does that, Needed by using Same sheet from 1.qvw to 2.qvw?? Or simply calling to 2.qvw for specific Sheet?

I got it working by adding a trigger to the variable vld in Doc2 which activates sheet2

Hi Anil,

We need to call sheet2 of Doc2 from Doc1 with Document Chain.

And if user directly opens Doc2 then it should be opened with Shee1

Hello ,

But the Triggers on open document don't working in Web view, so if you save it in web view on sheet 2 , next time it will be opend on sheet2.

is there any suggestion for solving this problem?
