We want to tightly integrate QlikView and Salesforce.com. We want to embed QlikView within Salesforce (not the other way around).

The first thing we want to do is to be able to pass to the Salesforce app an ID from within the QlikView app/webpage to identify record which the User selects within QlikView as matching their corresponding record in their Salesforce system. We then store this ID within Salesforce.

The second thing we want to do is, with the Salesforce page, to have a panel into which we dynamically import data/page from QlikView when the Salesforce page is opened. The ID which we stored (described above) is used to find the data/page within QlikView.

The effect is that a QlikView page is embedded within a Salesforce page.

Does anyone have any experience of doing this or able to provide some ideas?

Note - we have already created a tab within Salesforce which opens QlikView, but this does not pass parameters and we want tighter integration.

Hi,

Probably, you need to use QlikView SDK component by which you can design custom control in Salesforce.com to pass the data values from QlikView to Salesforce.com.

Regards,

Raj Kishor

Hey, I'm interested too... does anybody know how to transfer credentials to QV from salesforce.com in order to have a single sign-in with access restrictions?
