Is it possible to Link Filed to another table without having linking fileds,

my sale table has below column

sale_no,

sale_date,

sale_description

Fact table has the column

sale_date_key

Date Table has the column

Date_key.

Using date_key and sale_date_key.. i am linking my fact table and date table..

How to link the date column to the sale table.. There is no common filed names.

When i tried the Cartesian product is forming.

you have to have a relationship between these tables in order to make links?

are you talking about MasterCalendar ?

No not a master table.
