topic looking for a tool for DWH reporting in QlikView

Hi. Never used Qlik. I just wonder if Qlik (or a related product) is useful for what I need.

I have data in Microsoft Access to be analysed by a single analyst, so I need a tool to be installed locally on a PC (it is not a corporate application).

The db has a data warehouse structure, but very simple, just two fact tables (production and claims) and two dimension tables (time and items sold).

I need to produce a tabular report with running totals, plus a chart (see attachment). The chart must compare different slopes, so it is very important to "shift" the lines to the date when an item was sold for the first time (month-1).

Is Qlik suite ok for this? Which tool/product of the suite (if any) I am supposed to use for this? Any utility that helps in showing slopes as described above or I need to adjust data manually?

Thanks for all suggestions and clarifications.

F

Sorry for the late reply, took me a bit to track down what I was looking for, but I finally found it today. Have a look at the following page, hopefully you will be able to download the Desktop Client, it will be Personal Edition:

https://help.qlik.com/en-US/qlikview/April2020/Subsystems/Client/Content/QV_QlikView/QlikView_Personal_Edition.htm

That will explain what that means, but I believe it will work for your situation.

Here is the other link I mentioned to where you should be able to get the installer:

https://www.qlik.com/us/products/qlikview/customer-resources

Apologies again for the late reply, but I hope this may be what you need.

Regards,
Brett
