Hi,

I have a model with a lot off charts and tables,

Is it possible to sort the field "Year" in all objects in ascending order?

meaning, that in every object that the field is displayed the previous year will be displayed first?

You may define the sorting in general in

Tab Settings/Document
Tab Sort
Select your field Year and define the sort order
After that each chart/table which you create new, will be sorted that way
(the sort order will not be changed for existing charts/tables)

is it what you need?

You can change field default sort order in Document Properties-> Sort tab.

You would need to edit each chart and change things on the Sort tab, there is no easy way to do things after the fact as far as I am aware, sorry I do not have better news for you. Using Document Properties\Sheets tab might save you a little time if you know what objects you need to update as you can click properties button once you highlight an object there, but that is about the best I have.
