Hi,

I have created bar chart and the Slider. Based on slider value bar chart selection will get changed.

In the slider i have 5 Major units and 10 minor units per major unit. In the mionr unit if the value is 2.20 it is showing as 2.2.But the bar chart is showing as 2.20. So whenever we are choosing the value as 2.2 the bar chart is not getting changed accordingly.

is there options has to be changed.

Hi,

Create a variable and call this variable into the slider. And in a bar chart whatever calculation you are using use that variable also.

Eg: Variable Name - vVar, In a slider select on "variable" on General tab and call variable i.e. vVar.

Design a chart, in expression put your calculation with variable for whatever purposes you are using slider as, in my chart i have put two expression:

one is : sum(sales)

and if i want to change values in a chart by selecting slider so i have put this expression in chart as sum(sales)*vVar.

now, whenever i scroll slider my values definitely change.

this i have done as per my understanding. Hope it will help you

Hi,

The value will change definetly, I think to check, if that is changing or not, just in your bar chart go to "number" change into "fixed" and give 4 or 5 decimals.
