I have two tables of customer data and need to check for mismatches in customer names, if any. And final aim is to have one table with correct data.

Thanks for the reply.

Hi all,

What is the best method to find unmatched records in QV/QS please?

Would outer join work, or can I just leave it to associative engine, and use calculated dimensions in straight / normal table?

Your advice, experience and opinions are much appreciated.

Tia

Please elaborate on what you are trying to do with an example if possible.

Qlik engine will identify unmatched records effectively. But final answer will depend your scenario

The data is nothing special, they are just 2 tables of the same format recorded/captured differently, hence checking for dissimilarities. I have used join, as I did not want the associative engine to bring in non-common records and thus taxing on thx resources.

Thanks all for your replies.
