Converting If condition to Set Analysis

Hi,

can any help me to convert following If condition to set analysis.

Sum(
if (Date<=(UserSelectedDate)
AND (DueDate > UserSelectedDate or Isnull(paydate))

,Amt,0)
)

The functionality of above code is doing running total with conditions. Instead of using If conditions, I would like to use Set analysis.
