&lt;P&gt;I think you want to do the Dimension background in this case, the help will guide you on what you need to do, hopefully that may do the trick.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am trying to format the following pivot table, the column Metric2 has 3 values, Income, Balances and Margin. I want to be able to format such that it is easy to distinguish between the three of them.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is there anyway I can add a horizontal black line that would go all the way across my pivot table to make it easier to distinguish between Income, Balance and Margin?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
