Loading Multiple Excel Files Sharepoint

I've read lots on here that it's not possible to dynamically load multiple excel files from SharePoint but is it possible to do it using a loop in a file list, with the web file path as the file list?

For each file in FileList('https://test.sp.test.com/sites/dept/it/Flat%20File%20Repository/IT/test/Snapshots/$(vFileName).csv')

Would this work?

Create a connection to that web address, and then use that connection to loop for the file list.

Have a read through that if you have not sorted things yet and hopefully that may get you the piece you are missing.
