Need help in qlikview function

Hi,

I have one pivot table that is having 36 expression 3 expression for each month. the expression are current year, previous year , %overLY, ,the pivot table is working with variable vReportmonth

if the variable vReportmonth value is 1, then 3 expression for JAN MONTH(current year, previous year , %overLY) calculating and similarly vReportmonth value is 2, then 3 expression for FEB MONTH(current year, previous year , %overLY) calculating and so on.

Now my requirement is instead of writing 36 expression i need 3 expression. I dont want to use variable vreportmonth in enabling the expression.

Hello,

You should use the month in dimension.

Concerning the variable, is it an input value ? or defined in script ? and why you want get ride of it ?
