Key Column in Link Table

Hello,

What is the purpose behind concatenating all dimensions to form Key column in Link Table?

Key field will generate one club values based on delimiter to produce the Autonumber. For Ex:

Load * Inline [

Name, Company, Sales

A, A1,

B, B1

];

And condition as follows to generate key

Name & '|' & Company as Key

Output: A|A1 and B|B1

Where as Below condition will produce

AutoNumber(Name & '|' & Company) as Key

Output: 1 and 2

You can use Key as filter for selection from entire model.
